PORK PASTRIES

Get ready for game day with another recipe from Catharine’s Kitchen.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1/2 Pound of Edley’s Pulled Pork (Option: Replace pork with Edley’s pulled chicken)

  • 4-6 oz. of Edley’s BBQ Sauce

  • Mini Pie Crusts

  • Shredded Cheddar Cheese

  • Cooking Spray

  • Muffin Tin

RECIPE

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.

  2. Grease a muffin tin with your cooking spray.

  3. Combine your pork (or chicken) and approximately 4-6 oz. of Edley’s BBQ sauce in a mixing bowl.

  4. Place mini pie crusts into your greased muffin tin.

  5. Once pie crusts are formed into your muffin tin, poke the bottoms of each pie crust and bake in the oven for about 5 minutes.

  6. After 5 minutes, remove muffin tin from oven and fill each pie crust with your pork (or chicken) and BBQ sauce mixture.

  7. Top each with a sprinkle of cheddar cheese.

  8. Place them back in the oven for 2-5 minutes, removing once your cheese is melted.

  9. OPTIONAL: Top with green onion, sour cream or extra Edley’s BBQ sauce.

  10. Serve.
